Isn't it a shame? Giuseppe Rossi has just been informed that he will not be part of the 23 man Italian squad headed to South Africa. Ouch. Talk about a major fucking backfire. One of the most promising American talents, this Jersey-born Guido could have been the face of the American team in South Africa, but he chose to shun us and play for Italia. The decision may still work out for him in the long run but I am damn sure he didn't plan on sitting at home for the tournament on holiday.

Get used to the view buddy, that's as close to the action as you will get Judas.

Sad to see talent of ours headed out, like young Neven Subotic who will be representing Serbia in South Africa. This can't keep happening if we really want to make progress. In the meantime let's enjoy the World Cup knowing the Giuseppe will be sharing the same view as us for the matches, from the confines of a couch and not on the pitch.
